MixedMartialArt.com, the home of the Thunderground forum now have an alternative shorter URL for easy access of their site. The new URL is http://www.mmma.tv . Editor of the site, Scoop McTroll says the aim was to provide an easier URL for those MMA fans who have trouble with reading and writing.
Coincidentally, this week MixedMartialArts.com also started using an alternative URL http://www.mma.tv. Site owner Kirik Jenness said that he tried to buy MMA.com but couldnt and that MMA.tv is quicker to type. OK Kirik, we belive you.
Quincy Rice admits to trashing the MMA.tv Judo Q&A
Michigan Poet and part time Grappler Quincy Rice publicly confessed to being the mysterious troll/spammer "judonewaza" that trashed the Judo Q&A with hundreds of multiple posts.

The latest attacks on us in that forum where the straws that broke the camel's back.His anger at two of his ex-students who started coming to our club spurred constant jealous rages aimed at us on that forum....Compounded by his already spiteful and jealousy induced oppinions of our club he began the questioning of ranks, continued manipulation and erasure of our posts,leading posts where made and when we responded they where erased as to make us look like we where going off for no reason.For many of you,by the time you got to that forum it was configured in such a way as to make Mark look the victim when the facts are it was the other way around.
Well,having no other choice as the powers that be chose to ignore my simple and fair requests for defined rules to stop the situation,I stated in a post to Mark that if he erased or manipulated anymore of our posts and attacked us again after doing so, that we would not be the only ones not being heard.I think my exact statement was "If we can not talk here without it being manipulated, noone will talk here"...
Well, I would like it known that he did not heed my warning.
From now on I will not mention his name in any thread he is not the topic of and there will be no more assaults on any forums of this or any other website as long as he is gone.If he returns that is fine too but at first site of things of old,I will again run his ass into the ground.Banned or not,I will organize and find a way.Take that to any lawyer you want.

It was a big day at Beston's NHB today as someone at the Underground posted a picture of scatboy and his wife. The pic and parts of threads about it from the UG were promptly posted at Beston's forum by loyal members and Trolliban soldiers wasted no time in doctoring it (see the photo on the right.) Another humiliating moment for the failed troll scatboy! But this time, it wasn't the great Tape Lord or even The Trolliban who were responsible, but friends of scatboy and his wife! Sherdog comes to kick it
Sherdog came by the Beston's Chat and we all hashed out our differences. Sherdog's site changed their policy on posting and we all just had a good time cahtting. It was just like old times as the Sherdog talked NHB with some of the guys that supported him for years. He even made some funny comments like "Let's hook up for anal" and asking about the anti-sherdog site and laughing. Overall it was pretty cool to see Sherdog come in there and let people know that he is the same guy who cares (but just a little busy now). Damn, even Osama Bin Trollin said the 'Jihad' is off.

Sherdog's Moderator Causing Trouble at the UG
TannerGJJ, moderator for Sherdog's New Forum (what is it now - about the 10th new forum?), was seen posting information on Tape Trading. Now, why would the Moderator of one forum go to another and post information about tape trading? Doesn't he know this is illegal? Well, the idiot was banned with the quickness. Whats funny is that he mods a forum that is so tough on their rules and he can't even stay on the UG. Personally, I believe he ( and other Sherdog cronies) were trying to ruin the UG. Why else would they tell people to come to their forum and take business from the UG? Or try to promote illegal activity? I think this shows the true colors of a once promising site. We were one of the first to support Sherdog and have enjoyed watching his site grow through hard work, but one should remember the humble 'geocities beginnings' he had. "Sherdog! Frank Bumstead thinks highly of himself
One the benefits of having a site is getting to post what you want. This guy here thinks we have dedicated this site to what he says on the OG. Maybe we will change the site to the "Frank Bumstead Forum". Yeah right? Lets take a hard look at this guy.
Frank Bumstead has been ducking Luke Beston for awhile now. He recently found this site after being the only winner of the "Faygot Site of the Month" award. He studys Kuk Sool Won where there Grandmaster gave a 4th Degree Blackbelt to Gary Goodridge for representing their art in the UFC. Gary admited that he only took about three classes. (See post below) Also, Mr. Bumstead runs his own business which holds tournaments a local Middle Schools. After accusing your humble host of being a 12 year old loser, I quickly put him in his place by posting pics of his grandmaster acting like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and comparing what I do to him. After that, I haven't seen him on the OG.
Frank don't the player, hate the game. We have nothing against you, but look at yourself before you call some people losers.

I met the guy who's in the yellow about a year ago at a seminar. Yes, I did study Kuk Sool Won for a couple months. Please God forgive me!!!!!!!! But anyway... that guy is pretty interesting, but I don't believe in that art at all anymore. Any Grandmaster or art for that matter who gives out a 4th Degree blackbelt (Gary Goodridge incident) to a guy just because he is representing their art in the UFC sucks ass in my opinion. Vernon Just has Bad Luck!
The most improved fighter in MMA and Fan Favorite Internet wide can't get a break. After winning three titles, being ranked the Number 10 Light Heavyweight by Fightsport and Number 6 by Taporsnap.com, Vernon finally found himself a legimate contender for Tito Ortiz's UFC belt. However, recently Vernon was struck by a car and had his leg broke. Although it is unconfirmed at this time, we find it ironic that the driver is unidentified and happened after Vernon challenged the Huntington Beach Bad Boy himself, Tito Ortiz. Maybe Tito will someday step up and fight the baddest Alley Cat from the Lion's Den.

Saburtat Computer gets taken from him

Last night UFC 33 had to be the worse in history. What the fuck is Zuffa thinking. The fights were boring and the fight everyone wanted to see - Tito Ortiz vs. Vitor Belfort was cancelled. Then they get Vlady, who had his ass kicked by Vernon White. Why not Vernon White? What the fuck is Zuffa thinking? Then MMA closes after the event. What the fuck is that? I'm thinking that that the UFC is lining the pockets of MMA and to try to suppress what people felt they had them close down the server. What a bunch of shit. This is why Pride is ten times better. Kevin O'Toole to Fight!
Buffmaster badass Kevin O'Toole might make a ring appearance. The legendary pipe layer of Lori Chriko might fight on an Indian Reservation in a pro wrestling event. The Buff one is considering to do a work. Supposely O'Toole reminds the promoter of the 'Dynamite Kid', whoever the hell that faygot is!!! 1000 Hits a Day?
On September 4, Thingvold's had 1,087 hits!!! Holy crap! The one time joke as a forum has grown rapidly over the last few months. In the last six months we have averaged 140 hits a day, but in the last month we have averaged over 300 hits a day. What the hell is going on? I guess people are looking to Thingvold's for a number of reasons. I do know that Sherdog and Tromsdorf read here to see what people are saying about them. Shit that might even be him posting about anal sex! The best thing is that only a few sites list us in the 'Links' section (Sherdog's is one of them) as the other sites are too chickenshit to link us, while we link everyone! It just goes to show that we have a good thing going on and the powers can't stop the people!

Royal Thai Embassy Destroyed
The Royal Thai Embassy located in the World Trade Center was completely destroyed as two airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center. Both World Trade Center have completely fallen down and thousands are feared dead.
It is the opinion of this webmaster that we need to start kicking some ass and taking names later. Osuma Ben Laden is the prime suspect, but I think that all countries in the Middle East that the United States has had problems with need to be dealt with a quick smack down. I don't care if Iraq had anything to do with it. Make up an excuse. Lets clean house and get these radical fucks off the planet. If the Abu Dhabi Tournament had something to do with it lets get their ass too. I don't give a shit if innocent people die - thats war. When you fight a war people die. Acting and Martial Arts
The USA Channel just replayed the 'Walker Texas Ranger' episode with Frank Shamrock. Did anyone notice the connection with Bolo in 'Bloodsport'? "You're next!", screamed Frank at Chuck Norris. The acting was as bad as when Bolo did it to Jean Claude Van Damme. Its good the Frank can kick ass, so we won't have to worry about him making a living acting.

According to 'The Top MMA Sites', Thingvold's ranked 11th. Pretty good considering I signed up and never put a link up. In our two years serving the dysfunctional part of the MMA community we have accumulated over 90,000 hits! Holy Shit! Thats pretty good for a site that started out as a joke. Most of the so-called 'Elite Sites' won't link to us, but MixedMartialArt.com (Not the UG) and Sherdog's have found it in their heart to link us.

Yet Another Fighter Ducks Tiger White!!!
Vernon “Tiger” White was supposed to fight the self-hyped Eddy Rolon in Atlantic City on August 10, 2001 in Ken Shamrock’s “Megafight”. However, it seems that Eddy is joining a long list of fighters that want nothing to do with the ‘Tiger’. From being ducked by the UFC to now Eddy Rolon, it appears that no one will step up and fight Vernon White. Another unknown fighter backed out against Vernon and he had to settle fighting Joe Pirole, an undefeated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter. Pirole is the 2001 International Fighting Championship, Heavyweight Tournament Champ, the 2000 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Masters Super-Heavyweight World Champion, the 2000 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Super Heavyweight Pan American Bronze Medalist, the 1997 US National Heavyweight Silver Medalist, the 1997 US Vale Tudo Heavyweight Champion and the five-time East Coast Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Heavyweight Champion. In the fight, Vernon achieved the mount position and unleashed several blows until the referee stopped the fight giving Vernon the WMMA's light heavyweight crown to add to his impressive hardware of titles. Pirole, a very game and accomplished fighter, proved why Vernon is being ducked by larger organizations such as the UFC.

On a Serious Note
Underground member Disciple has left us. On June 13th at 1:23am while on the way to a call of an armed robbery in progress with shots fired and people possibly down. Disciple He was passing through an intersection at approximately 86 mph. The driver of the vehicle had blown a red light and was found to have a 1.8 BAL. Chad was pronounced dead at 2:53am at Kenosha County Memorial Hospital.
We here at Thingvold's would like to send are ddepest regrets to his friends and families.
Shogun of Harlem - The Most Hated
In a recent otherground poll, the SOH was voted the most hated of all Thingvold members. However, he received only two votes and trailed the King of Pancrase by 45 votes, finishing in a disappointing 25th place. Some other notable trolls were Tape Lord (7), Shimora (3), Redneck (1), and Striker (1).

Todd Atkins tells Eddie Goldman how he feels about him on the MMA.com. We tried to reach Eddie but he was unavailable for comment. Perhaps, he was taking legal action against Todd.
I am all for speaking the mind. But the fact that Eddie Goldman would compare Pride to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is beyond disgusting. First and foremost, Eddie Goldman would not know the feeling of that attack if it hit him in his fat head. Second to shit on the thousands who died violently in that attack to fuel such a petty agenda is sick, and an insult to very country that he lives in. My Grandad witnessed the attack first hand, and never spoke about it to anyone. Not his kids, nobody. I am currently stationed there as well. I just feel that the two should never be compared, and it is sick and twisted to even try and make sense of such a comment. Eddie just call your show UFC and get it over with. Your not out to cover No Hold Barred sports. Your out to build the UFC. And that is fine if that is what you truely want. But why not just be up front about it completely? Rarely do I get this bent out of shape over something. But this just rubs me the wrong way. I think it takes a lot of nerve to insult your fellow countryman that died in an attack, to take a shot at a fighting event, the two are not on the same level, and not even in same ballpark. Comparing a fighting event to getting a bomb dropped on your ass, out of complete surprise, or being lit up by machine gun fire from fighter planes, tearing your body apart like paper mache is just plain demented.
