Welcome to Beston's No Holds Barred! The page was originally known as Thingvold's No Holds Barred. It was started years ago by Shogun of Harlem as a joke in dedication of the Internet's greatest 'Trash Talker', Shaun Andrew Thingvold, then years later the site was rededicated to Australian MMA legend Luke Beston. I want to make it clear that the only affiliation Shaun has with this page is when he sends us an e-mail or posts on the forum. If you are looking for him then leave a message for him on the 'Message Board'. Other than that we can not help you in any attempt to get a hold of him.

The news provided here is a little different. There are tons of news sources on the internet and if you don't know where to go then check out our links page. What we attempt to bring here is stuff that is not found at other places, but what we think might be interesting for Martial Art fans (and a little funny). Thanks for supporting us!

Klitschko vs Byrd

I like Klitschko by convincing decision. Byrd's won a lot of controversial decisions, like with Oquendo and McCline. It seems to me that in Germany he will have a hard time winning a close decision, which is how he wins most of his fights. The best hope for him is that he can force Klitschko into working so much early that he will gas out in the later rounds. It's happened before, but it would take something extra for Byrd to pull that off.

Mia St. John destroys Shelby "Shelbygirl" Walker

Ten months after the annihilation of MMA fighter Erin Toughill at the hands of Leila Ali, aspiring MMA fighter/boxer and internet attention whore Shelby Walker received a harsh reality check from Playboy model Mia St. John, the one time poster girl for women's boxing, via a 3rd round TKO. "I knocked her down with a straight right in the second after she lifted me up and flipped me on the canvas like a wrestler," said St. John after the fight.

A PayPal fund has been started at the UG for Walker, who is undergoing tattoo laser removal treatment to clean up her image. Unfortunately, there is no known laser treatment for a lack of fighting skill.
