Welcome to Beston's No Holds Barred! The page was originally known as Thingvold's No Holds Barred. It was started years ago by Shogun of Harlem as a joke in dedication of the Internet's greatest 'Trash Talker', Shaun Andrew Thingvold, then years later the site was rededicated to Australian MMA legend Luke Beston. I want to make it clear that the only affiliation Shaun has with this page is when he sends us an e-mail or posts on the forum. If you are looking for him then leave a message for him on the 'Message Board'. Other than that we can not help you in any attempt to get a hold of him.

The news provided here is a little different. There are tons of news sources on the internet and if you don't know where to go then check out our links page. What we attempt to bring here is stuff that is not found at other places, but what we think might be interesting for Martial Art fans (and a little funny). Thanks for supporting us!

Here is a 'No Holds Barred' Biography of the legend, Shaun Andrew Thingvold. Read how this man became the greatest legend on the internet. Click Here

Fight pics

Like probably the majority of people I'm picking Toney by decision over Ruiz. I'd love to see Toney put Ruiz out to pasture and end Ruiz's reign of boredom over one of the title belts. There's a couple of thing's that worry me though. First I've seen Ruiz win some close questionable decisions and I've seen Toney lose some. If this fight is reasonably close could Ruiz's friends in high places get him a decision? It's possible. Toney tends to offend a lot of people so if the fight comes down to politics it might work against Toney. The other thing that concerns me is Toney's weight at 233 pounds. At 6 feet tall that can't be his ideal weight. Then again when you get older you gain a little so it may not be a bigh deal. Toney's also more about giving angles than moving around anyway. I see Toney basically outclassing Ruiz and taking over the last half of the fight.

In the udercard it's Wiliamson vs Jefferson. I haven't seen either of them fight in a couple of years so who knows? I'll predict that Jeffrsons learned a thing or 2 in the last few years and will win by knockout.

"The fight with Ruiz is going to be any way he wants to make it. He can do it the hard way, get beat up for 12 rounds and end up in the hospital. Or, he can do it the easy way, get hit on the chin and go to sleep."

“I do not play boxing. I do this for real.”
