A few weeks ago, a post was made here expressing concern that Tom Lowe, also known as The Lion, had been swept to his death in the horrific tsunami that took the lives of so many. The internet buzz was that he was in the area of the tsunami decompressing after completion of his latest novel, The Lion of Kabul, when the killer wave hit.

Happily, Lowe is back in the United States and living large. That's one internet myth that we're very glad to debunk.

I think I get along better with jives cuz of the sense of humor, plus most black dudes know how to chill better, smoke weed, and hit on white bitches.

This all started in the military, then picked up again when I was in Barcelona in 2003. I got fed up with all the European pussies and fruitcake backpackers, so I started chilling with the Nigerian and Liberian dudes at a bar near Plaça Reial. We'd drink for a couple of hours, then go out hunting white bitches.
