Welcome to Beston's No Holds Barred! The page was originally known as Thingvold's No Holds Barred. It was started years ago by Shogun of Harlem as a joke in dedication of the Internet's greatest 'Trash Talker', Shaun Andrew Thingvold, then years later the site was rededicated to Australian MMA legend Luke Beston. I want to make it clear that the only affiliation Shaun has with this page is when he sends us an e-mail or posts on the forum. If you are looking for him then leave a message for him on the 'Message Board'. Other than that we can not help you in any attempt to get a hold of him.

The news provided here is a little different. There are tons of news sources on the internet and if you don't know where to go then check out our links page. What we attempt to bring here is stuff that is not found at other places, but what we think might be interesting for Martial Art fans (and a little funny). Thanks for supporting us!

The Return of the English Roofer 

It appears that Stephan Arbutat AKA 'Sabrutat' or merely 'Stef' has made a brief return to the Otherground. The once very witty Englishman living in Austin has retruned with the same dry routine. Not only is it old, but sad. However, his time he does not have the Moderators protection. In fact, most people on the OG don't even remember who he is. It reminds one of how professional athletes would come back from retirement and get schooled. Here is a brief look at his attempt to, as he says, "Troll the Trolls":

Notice how he posts every week or so and brings back old threads. How the once mighty have fallen. Tapelord sums up the sad story of Sabrutat:

At the time I started trolling him back in 2001, he was a badly weather-beaten 32-year old roofer at a stage of his life where he was realizing his own mortality and living far away from home, and this made him a very bitter internet poster.

After many beatings from several people over the years, I believe the 36-year old (but looking like he is 46) sabrutwat has finally accepted his fate as a late 30's roofer in the body of a 50-year old.

And comments by Scoop McTroll bring the correct to a head:

The answer to that is simple. When Machine May was laughed off the forum, sabrutat no longer had a moderator riding shotgun for him. Once he didnt have the comfort zone of having his detractors banned or deleted, he soon lost his psuedo smug, psuedo superior act.

He still posts from time to time in a desperate effort to act like there's some semblance of his past glory days. Sadly for him, noone is fooled. In fact the new generation OG dorks dont even know who he is.

This is another sad story about an OG member who fell. The DUI did nothing for his life either.
