Welcome to Beston's No Holds Barred! The page was originally known as Thingvold's No Holds Barred. It was started years ago by Shogun of Harlem as a joke in dedication of the Internet's greatest 'Trash Talker', Shaun Andrew Thingvold, then years later the site was rededicated to Australian MMA legend Luke Beston. I want to make it clear that the only affiliation Shaun has with this page is when he sends us an e-mail or posts on the forum. If you are looking for him then leave a message for him on the 'Message Board'. Other than that we can not help you in any attempt to get a hold of him.

The news provided here is a little different. There are tons of news sources on the internet and if you don't know where to go then check out our links page. What we attempt to bring here is stuff that is not found at other places, but what we think might be interesting for Martial Art fans (and a little funny). Thanks for supporting us!

Bret "Jackol" Patelski has passed away 


Bret "Jackol" Patelski 1978-2004

Bret Patelski, the founder of Torture.net, who achieved fame on the internet as the self-proclaimed "God of Fuck" and "Jewish Basketball King of New Jersey," has died. He was twenty-six years old.

NHB trolls became acquainted with Jackol and the members of his message board at Torture.net during the message board wars of 1998-2000, when T-Net feuded with the XX forum (aka Stephen Steele's Forums of Steel), Patterson Rules and Anti-Social.com. Below is the orbituary from the Gloucester County Times and some matertials from his funeral service:

Bret Patelski, died suddenly, accidentally, on September 15, 2004 at the age of 26.

He graduated from Highland High School in 1996. He attended Dennison University in Ohio, Rowan University and Camden County College. He was self-employed computer specialist.

He is survived by his parents, Gene & Patricia Patelski, with whom he lived; a sister, Amy Patelski of Blackwood; his girlfriend, Alex Cappone of Hammonton; Aunt Marie Kizpolski of Trenton, Aunt Rita Reed of Texas; and a special friend and cousin, Rick Kizppolski of Morrisville, Pa.; and other cousins and friends.

A service will be held at the Central Brapist Church, S. Jackson and West Centre sts., Woodbury, N.J., on Monday at 8:00 p.m. with a viewing prior to the service from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements by DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury.

Rest in peace, Bret. Some people have said you were the Machine May of goths, but I think Machine May is the Jackol of NHB. May you reign as "God of Fuck" and "take it to the hoop" on all the goinks wherever you are. You were a true warrior!

Pornographer David Roy returns to MMA

Pornsite webmaster, Hall of Fame troll and part time journeyman MMA fighter David "Chokeyou2" Roy is back in the MMA business with a line of jewelry catered to the tastes of Underground forum members. Pictured below is one of his creations, a pendant in the likeness of Boxercise guru and hapless UFC president, Dana White. The new venture, called MMA Gold, represents Roy's latest attempt at striking it rich through the sport of MMA.

We at LukeBeston.NET feel that this line of merchandise is "bad for the sport" and thus cannot support it, so we will not link to his site.

Fightsport message board attacked by spammer 

Last week saw Fightsport attacked by a spammer using the screen name "stiv," who on consecutive nights spammed over 300 threads to push all relevant topics off the main forum. In the interim, Redneck proposed that Fightsport members gather at The Underworld until the spam was controlled. A Fightsport moderator has repaired the damage and reinstated the lost threads, but now the hunt is on for the cowardly spammer, who, not surprisingly, has gone into hiding.

LukeBeston.NET would like to encourage anyone with information on the spammer to contact Tape Lord or this site. A loser like stiv, who is worth less than the peanuts in a fat man's shit , deserves his comeuppance.
